Getting your engagement photos done should be fun and exciting! But it’s easy to be nervous about something when you don’t fully know what to expect. So we’re here to give you a taste of our process and what your session will look like.

During your session with us, we want you to LIVE IN THE MOMENT! And that’s why we consider ourselves lifestyle photographers.

To us, it’s so important to capture you in your raw, truest form.

But how do we capture authenticity on camera?

Simply put, we ask you to do some crazy things. Before we scare you off, let us explain!

Getting professional photos taken can be nerve wracking. Especially if you have a significant other who is less than thrilled with being on camera (been there!).

And believe us, it shows.

When you don’t want to be there… it shows. 

When you’re feeling uncomfortable… it shows.

But when you’re laughing it up, having a good time interacting with your boo, the nerves and stress of photos melt away like butter. 

So, what’s a typical session with the N&T sisters look like?

Well, to start, we play music. So if you have any song requests, let us know! Music helps everyone loosen up. 

So while you’re groovin’ and singing along, we will ask you to whisper sweet nothings into your honey’s ear. We will ask you to skip and twirl. We will ask you to snuggle and kiss. We will ask you to walk like you’re drunk. We will ask what you love most about your soulmate, and then to whisper your fav breakfast food in your sexiest voice.

Yes, we ask you to do some weird things. 

But it seriously works, you guys! We will get genuine smiles and snuggles that showcases your love. And I don’t care who you are… being weird is fun!

We just want you to be YOU! We want to make you laugh. We want you to remember why you’re getting married in the first place and for all those sweet emotions to seep through.

Our cameras EAT IT UP.

We still capture those traditional photos mom and dad want, so don’t worry! But 90% of the session will be focused on having fun and simply being you.

What’s our editing style?

Once the session is over, we will deliver you a beautiful gallery! But it’s important to pick a photographer who matches the style you love and envision for your dream day.

We describe our editing style as “timeless”. Not too moody. Not too dark or yellow. Just a nice balance. When we edit, these are the things we focus on:

• Golden creamy skin tones
• Darkening greenery so it helps our subjects (aka YOU!) pop and be the focus
• Brightening shadows but adding contrast  

We don’t want the editing style of your photos to be trendy because TRENDS FADE. And 10 years from now, when you’re looking back over your photos, we want them to look authentic and not outdated. This is why we do our best to keep our editing style timeless.

There are so many amazing photographers out there, so if our style isn’t for you, we certainly won’t take offense! You loving your wedding photos is the most important thing to us! Regardless of who delivers that to you. ❤️
