I (Kayla) have SO many wonderful things to say about the Wrage family. It’s truly ironic how small this world actually is. Several years ago, Andrew and I were in the same communications work group when I was working in the corporate world, and little did I know that our paths would cross again. When Erika got married, the sweetest person baked her wedding cake, which ended being Andrew’s beautiful wife, Shae! Since then, Shae has been our go-to-person for birthday parties, baby showers, etc., and from those encounters our friendship has blossomed and I’m so grateful for that. Andrew and Shae also welcomed their adorable daughter Harper into the world last winter, and she is the cutest little girl with the sweetest personality.

Shae is also a woman of many talents. She not only manages her cake business, The Posh Cake, but she is also an officer with the Illinois Air National Guard — talk about girl power! We were able to venture onto the base in Bartonville, Illinois to capture a few family portraits, which included these massive planes as our background. It was beyond amazing to be so close to a military plane. I have so much respect and gratitude for all the men and women that serve our country, fighting for our freedom. Thank you Shae for your service!

We were literally feet away from the Peoria airport run way.  Harper loved watching the planes land, as did I!
